I have been reading and writing since I was four, but my writing really kicked off in Year 9 (age 13) when a project gave me the opportunity to write my first novel. The story (and grade: High Distinction) boosted my confidence and I was soon writing down many more of my ideas.
The Eleven* has a very personal meaning to me, as I often wish my own character could become real and think about what an amazing lives they would have. Unfortunately, I am only able to animate them in the minds of the reader. All of my characters seem a part of me and they are always fun to be around.
The idea came to me when I was having a conversation with my friend Georgina (Adie is loosely based on her) about Time Travel and the possibility of people coming back to visit us. From there it stemmed to many other topics such as Doctor Who, Terminator etc but the idea became a nagging thought, always bringing me back. I won't give too much away, because some of you may not have read it all, but I have a few quirks in store and I look forward to seeing your reaction.
